My Dream Explorer is developed in collaboration with the Michigan Department of Career Development and the Michigan Department of Education. Additional guidance and direction is provided by Michigan Virtual University, Michigan Occupational Information System, and the Michigan Virtual High School.

Michigan Virtual University is a private, not-for-profit Michigan corporation established in 1998 to deliver online education and training opportunities for students, teachers, employers and others.

MVU is a flexible, market-driven organization that contracts for the delivery of its programs and services through Michigan colleges, universities and private training providers. MOIS is licensed by Michigan Virtual University to develop and deliver a wide variety of career development products for Kindergarten through Employment. We provide career guidance and development information in many forms, including workbooks, games, videos, websites, and CD-ROM. In additon, MOIS offers face-to-face training on all products. Our office assists the State Board of Education in providing educational leadership. We advise the State Legislature on the financial needs of schools, provide technical assistance to local Intermediate School Districts and approve the certification of teachers.
